MEET MOMMA EGG
As a foster, my momma dogs have always found their homes at the same time as their babies and I hope I can keep that trend up. Egg deserves it.
She is a very good and attentive momma to her puppies, and at times lets them get away with too much because she is too soft to correct them. I’ve had to pull a puppy off of her ears many times! Egg will thrive best in a patient, quiet home who will give her time to get comfortable. Loud sounds and fast movements frighten her, though she has never done anything other than go to hide in her safe spot.
She is naturally curious about people and wants love! I have spent the weeks allowing her to approach me rather than trying to pet her constantly, and now she will politely nudge my hand to ask for pets ( sometimes she even pushes a baby out of the way to soak up the attention herself ).
She has been tolerant of my dogs, though for her sake I haven’t made them interact much. She was afraid of the cat, but has become mostly neutral with time. I think she could live with both dogs and cats, so long as they were gentle with her!
She loves to play when she’s comfortable, and is starting to get the concept of fetch. While I don’t think she’d thrive in a busy home, she would be the perfect companion for a small family or single person looking for new best friend. She is very quiet and I haven’t had any accidents happen in my house ( I don’t wait until she tells me she has to use the bathroom, I just take her outside ).
Most of the hard training is done for you when it comes to Egg! All she needs from you now is time, understanding, and love
Egg's adoption fee of $225.00 includes her spay, microchip, Dhpp, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations
